Billboard Charts: Black Eyed Peas Reclaim The Top Spot
Posted by Mitch Michaels on 07.02.2009

The Black Eyed Peas reclaimed the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 this week with The E.N.D.. The album swaps places with last week's #1, the Jonas Brothers' Lines, Vines & Trying Times, which slips to #2.

Regina Spektor was the highest charting debut this week, scoring #3 with Far. Dream Theater, the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen soundtrack and Ginuwine also debuted in the Top 10.

As had been reported, Michael Jackson had the top three selling albums this week (Number Ones, The Essential Michael Jackson and Thriller), but none were eligible for the Billboard 200 charts because they are more than 18 months old and have fallen past #100 on the chart.

Billboard 200 Top 10 (week ending 7/11/09)
1. The Black Eyed Peas - The E.N.D.
2. Jonas Brothers - Lines, Vines & Trying Times
3. Regina Spektor - Far
4. Dave Matthews Band - Big Whiskey & The Groogrux King
5. Eminem - Relapse
6. Dream Theater - Black Clouds & Silver Linings
7. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - The Album
8. Lady GaGa - The Fame
9. Ginuwine - A Man's Thoughts
10. Hannah Montana: The Movie

Fuck yeah Dream Theater!!! I'm shocked a band with massive talent like that could actually crack the top 10 these days.
