More Michael Jackson News: CA Attorney General To Track Jackson's Drugs, AEG Live Insurance Policy Covered Jackson OD
Posted by Ashish on 07.03.2009

- Turns out that AEG Live's insurance policy for the 50 Michael Jackson London concerts covered Jackson overdosing on drugs. AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips said that the $17.5 million insurance policy covered Jackson overdosing but still will fall short of the money spent on Jackson's advances, producing the show, covering some of Jackson's debt, paying his staff and rent, and more, all of which cost roughly $30 million.

- California State Attorney General Jerry Brown has started to investigate the doctors who seemed to prescribe Michael Jackson drugs recklessly. Brown says that his office will help the LAPD try to track the drugs that ended up with Jackson. Brown used this same method to track drugs in the Anna Nicole Smith case. As reported earlier, Jackson used many aliases to score drugs including Omar Arnold and Jack London. He was taking several painkillers and sometimes even took a strong anesthesia drug used on surgery patients to knock them out, a drug not intended for home use.
