Fiddy says he held up new album to make room for Relapse...
50 Cent's Before I Self Destruct is set to hit stores on November 3rd, but the rapper has been sitting on the new album for a while. Fiddy says he actually held up releasing the CD earlier in the year to make room for Eminem's Relapse.
He said: "I was limited with time on my other projects, and this one, just because the system was in a state of confusion with things changing - the music business itself changed. And it was definitely a time where I felt like I was ready and it wasn't a possibility for me to release the record at that point. And then the Eminem train came running down the track and I had to get out the way to let Eminem's record go out. Because he had been off for two years, it made good sense for to let him go out first."
I'm wondering if the new rumors that Relapse 2 will drop in mid-November will push 50's new disc back further?
