Listen To AFI's New Single
Posted by Mitch Michaels on 08.26.2009

"Medicate," the first single from AFI's forthcoming album, Crash Love, has just premiered on radio and the internet. The song will also be featured on Guitar Hero 5. Check it out below.

Frontman Davey Havok says the song speaks "of the mutability of elation that's based in really powerful, yet fleeting, experiences and those experiences being referred to in a sort of metaphoric way such as medication."

If you pre-order Crash Love on iTunes (which includes bonus tracks "Breathing Towers To Heaven," an unreleased demo, and "Too Late For Gods," an unreleased studio track), you get an instant download of "Medicate".

Crash Love hits stores on September 29th. For more info, check out AFI's official site, MySpace and Facebook. They're also on Twitter @AFI.

sounds pretty standard for AFI, not my favorite song of theirs by far..but a decent offering nonetheless. still i'm sure the album as a whole will blow my f'n mind.
