Lil' Wayne Scores Highest Grossing Hip-Hop Tour Ever

Lil' Wayne's 2008-2009 tour pulls in big bucks...

Lil' Wayne's 2008-2009 North American tour has ended up grossing $42 million, making it the most lucrative hip-hop tour ever, according to Billboard. The second high-grossing rap tour Billboard has ever tracked was Jay-Z's 2008 tour which brought in $34.6 million, followed by Kanye West's 2008 tour which pulled in $30.8 million. The 2005 Eminem/50 Cent tour follows with $22.7 million.

Lil' Wayne's tour is likely to crack Billboard's year-end list of the top 25 grossing tours, a rare accomplishment for a hip-hop tour.

My roommate and his fiancee went to his show in Charlotte.
It also featured Jeremiah and Soulja Boy.

They said it was an incredible show, and the ROCK band he had (made up of all black ROCKERS) was incredible!!!
