The Boss and the E Street Band to Take a Break

Two successful albums and a worldwide tour are enough...
After their current North American tour ends on Nov. 22nd in Buffalo, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band are expecting to take some time off. The Boss had mentioned to some European reporters last year that his next project would be without The E Street Band.
"As far as I know we'll wrap up at Thanksgiving, and that'll be it for the time being," guitarist Nils Lofgren said.
Long time E Street-er Steven Van Zandt added, "You never know, do ya? It could be the last show, could be the last tour. You never know. We do every show like it's our last show, anyway. But don't wait around; if you're waiting to come see us, come now. This is a good time to see us."
The Boss and the guys have two front-to-back performances of Born To Run coming up in Chicago and Nashville and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th anniversary concert on Oct. 29 in New York City.
