Joe Perry Aggravated Over Aerosmith's Canceled Tour
Posted by Jasper Jones on 09.19.2009

Aerosmith's lead guitarist Joe Perry has voiced his irritation over the recent canceled tour to the Associated Press. In fact, Perry is so upset he hasn't spoken to front-man Steven Tyler in a little over a month.

"The tour was building up to be a great tour, and I was pretty [upset], you know," Perry told the AP. "I haven't talked to him in over five weeks. I don't know what's going on with him. I hear he's getting better, but I don't know. I really don't know what's going on with him."

Steven Tyler had something completely different to say when speaking to Rolling Stone last month: "Someone is leaking stuff, pretending to know, and you know, I don't even care. Has the band done things to me where I've wanted to quit? Positively. But I've stuck in there for the sake of a few sounds we got. I respect the power this band has in and of itself, regardless of who says what." Tyler then went on to say that "shit's cool" between the band members.

The band was forced to cancel their tour with ZZ Top this year after Steven Tyler took a nasty fall off the stage during a concert in South Dakota on August 5th, 2009. He suffered a broken shoulder and split the back of his head open, requiring 20 stitches.

I'm sure you have, but what is Steven Tyler, like 80? Yes, I'm kiddng, but seriously the older you get the longer it takes to bounce back.

Agreed. I actually pray that Aerosmith gets back on coke sometime soon, they were at least a little bit interesting then.
