Detroit rapper Eminem's music publisher and Apple Inc. have settled a lawsuit over the digital downloading rights to many of his songs.
Eight Mile Style attorney Richard Busch said today that the deal was reached late Thursday. He did not disclose details of the settlement.
Eminem's publisher had claimed that its deal to sell the rights to 93 songs to Aftermath Records didn't authorize separate deals with digital distributors such as Apple's iTunes. Eight Mile Style was seeking millions of dollars in compensation.
