New Britney Spears Single To Debut At #1

First single in three years to debut at top of the charts...

Britney Spears will be the first artist in over three years to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 today with her new single "3". The song was downloaded 255,000 times in its first week.

Taylor Hicks' "Do I Make You Proud" was the last single to debut at #1 back on July 1, 2006. This will mark Brit's third #1 hit, following "...Baby One More Time" and "Womanizer".
