Lil' Wayne Pleads Guilty To Gun Charge

Facing prison time...

Lil' Wayne pled guilty today to attempted weapon possession in New York. He is now facing one year in prison on that charge, and is still also facing drug and weapon possession charges in Arizona.

Wayne was busted in New York on July 22nd, 2007 after police pulled his tour bus over because they smelled weed. Inside the bus, they found a gun. New York has strict gun laws, meaning Wayne's punishment will likely be harsher than it might have been in another state.

And in 2008, cops found 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy, various drug paraphernalia, and a gun on his tour bus in Yuma County, Arizona. Wayne has, so far, pled not guilty to these charges and will go to trial in March of 2010.

He should get the time any normal person accused of the same charges would get. Shortening someone's sentence because they are famous is bull. These people never learn that way.

holy shit thats so many drugs. i hate lil wanye and his music and i hope he gets put away for a long time. more for the gun than the drugs b/c dont we all want some of them at times.

Sucks that hes got to go away to the big house,but if you think about it, it'll probably be good for him.

4 different baby mamas,drugs and alcohol,party lifestyle etc., the man was really getting out of control.Hopefully he gets hes life in order and gets back to making good music.
