Legal threats and lawsuits be damned!
Sublime - featuring surviving members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh with 21-year-old Rome Ramirez sitting in for the deceased Bradley Nowell - took to the stage this past weekend at the Smokeout Festival in San Bernadino, CA, amid much controversy.
The band is facing a lawsuit from the Nowell family and the executors of his estate, claiming that Nowell owned the Sublime name and that Wilson and Gaugh's "reunion" was a trademark infringement.
Here is video of the band performing at the festival below, including a look at new singer Rome Ramirez:

I was there this weekend and they were Awesome!!! They couldn't have picked a better frontman to carry on the Sublime legacy! They would never have been Sublime without Bud and Eric either!! It took all 3 of them to make the Band what it was, and their sound what it was.

I was ready to rage, but god damn that kid is spot on. If you closed your eyes you'd never know. This is one of the few times where I'd go see the band after they've replaced a dead lead singer (I still refuse to see AC/DC after Bon Scott). The kid is good.

Is it just me does the new guy look like pat from the movie - seriously is it a guy or a girl
....The song fits perfectly for the new singer pat
its kinda wierd i mean they were apart of the band so i guess if bradley didnt pull a kurt cobain that the band would get favor......but its still weird because if a instrumentalist died youd never know vocals makes the band its just weird

yeahh... a shitty sound
I admit they have some good songs overall and the live performances ive seen (i speak on youtube too young so dont start bs ing people) they sucked
wayy too much herion and drugs
i do love the weed though
yeah its just weird
The band is made by the Vocalist Hugely on the Vocalist ESPECIALLY if there the songwriter then they truly are the Whole sound and the Whole Band
and instruments can be replaced no problem frontman people tends to fall on the vocalist

I was at smokeout on the lawn and I cant describe how great it felt to listen to sublime live with thousands of people who love sublime just as much as I do. Sublime needs to live on through Bud, Eric, and Rome not through guitar hero games. Brads wife needs to let the lovin take ahold cause it will if shed let it.
