Huge Weekend Expected For Michael Jackson's This Is It
Posted by Ashish on 10.27.2009

Michael Jackson's This Is It will start hitting theaters at midnight ET tonight and by Sunday, many experts think the film will have grossed over $40 million. Most expect that the film will become the highest grossing concert movie ever when all is said and done.

"Advance sales have been very good," Sony distribution topper Rory Bruer said. "This is something unique. It's an event, and we're very excited about the potential but really can't quantify it yet."

The film is only scheduled to run for two weeks, but if it performs as well at the box office as expected, Sony may extend the theatrical run.

Fact: MJ has supported more charitys then any artist artist. Fact: He has certainly achieved more you will ever achieve in your lifetime so give the man some bloody respect!
