50 Cent Wants To Be Obama's Financial Adviser
Posted by Ashish on 10.28.2009

Even huge rap stars like 50 Cent aren't immune to the recession. Just look at the sacrifices he's having to make...
"I buy diamonds on a very regular basis, but now I am selling my old stuff before I get something new. These are times when you learn about the value of money.

If you don't lose money in this recession, it means you didn't have enough to start off with. Sure, I lost a few million, but that's because I have so much. This is a time that will sort out the strong from the weak."
50 went on to say that he is such a good financial adviser that he'd even manage President Obama's money if asked.
"Any businessman who wants a piece of the future should learn from me. Obama is great. If he wants me as his financial adviser that would be cool."

This is the antithesis of who I'd want running the country's money.

If only I could afford to lose a couple million. This line esp made me groan: If you don't lose money in this recession, it means you didn't have enough to start off with.

Way to remember your roots boy.

Talk about humility. Not bad for a crack dealer. Oh 50, it was your white agents and execs that signed your first paychecks.
