Rob Zombie Jumps Record Labels

Guess we know why Hellbilly Deluxe 2 was delayed...
In an unexpected move, Rob Zombie has signed a new worldwide deal with Roadrunner Records through its Loud & Proud imprint. Zombie had been a longtime fixture on the Geffen label, spending 18 years there solo and with White Zombie.
Zombie's new album, Hellbilly Deluxe 2, will now be released by Roadrunner / Loud & Proud in early 2010. It had been scheduled for a November 17th drop, but was recently postponed with no explanation.
"It certainly wasn't an easy decision to make after all this time, but it had to be done," states Zombie. "I love this new record and wanted to surround myself with an excited new group of people who can reignite my enthusiasm for working within a hard rock record label. Roadrunner seems to be the perfect place."
The first single from the new album, "What?" recently launched at all rock radio formats. Check out a tracklisting for Hellbilly Deluxe 2 and a full Rob Zombie tour itinerary below.
