Several More Creditor's Claims Made Against Michael Jackson Estate
Posted by Michael Melchor on 10.30.2009

Michael Jackson's estate has been hit with four more creditor's claims.

First is Leonard Rowe, self-described manager of the singer, who has filed a creditors claim for $51,218. Rowe claims that, on March 25, 2009, Jackson signed an agreement in which Rowe would "oversee and supervise his finances and the shows at the O2 Concert Hall in London." Included in the legal docs that went along with the claim is the agreement that Jackson allegedly signed.

The next three are ALL from people claiming Michael still owed them money from the making of "Thriller". Levitsky Productions, asking for more than $1,000,000, claims they weren't paid profits they were entitled to from the music video in more than 4 years.

Next is George Folsey Jr., who produced the "Thriller" music video and documentary. Folsey claims Jackson stiffed him out of his cut of Thriller-related merchandise such as video games, toys, comic books, DVDs, CDs, dramatic and musical works and more. Folsey Jr. also wants more than $1,000,000.

And finally, John Landis, the film director who wrote and directed the video and its documentary, claims Jackson owed him more than $400,000 from a deal MJ made to take "Thriller" to Broadway. Landis says that Jackson didn't have the authority to make that deal in the first place without his consent.
