Lego Rock Band To Come Out This Year

Blur, David Bowie, Iggy Pop will rock out as plastic figures...

You know an idea is getting old when they need to throw some Lego into the mix.

Acts such as Blur, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Radiohead and Weezer, among others, will appear in the 'Lego Rock Band' video game which is set to go on sale later this year.

You can watch game footage below of a plastic Blur performing "Song 2".

Songs by the involved bands have already appeared in previous conventional editions of Rock Band.

Excuse Harmonix if Activision decides to release 8 or 9 Guitar Hero titles this year. That is not their problem.

Where does the NME article say that Weezer and Radiohead will appear? They don't, not as characters or songs; unless you have DLC of their songs maybe

I'd buy this game if there was a code to have Lego Iggy shoot up on some Lego heroin and roll around on some Lego broken glass. That'd be awesome.
