[CONTEST] Win A GIANT Nirvana Prize Pack From 411!
Posted by Mitch Michaels on 11.05.2009

Nirvana's historic August 30, 1992 headlining appearance at the UK's Reading Festival is finally being released as both a CD and DVD on November 3rd. To celebrate, we're giving away a giant Nirvana prize pack.

Live At Reading features a performance of nearly the entire Nevermind tracklist, as well as early performances of three as yet unrecorded songs - "All Apologies," "Dumb," and in its first ever public performance, "Tourettes." The setlist also reached back to the band's debut album for "Blew," "About A Girl," "School," "Negative Creep" and first single "Love Buzz," and even further back to the mid-‘80s for "Spank Thru." Additionally, the band played a pair of covers by two bands that helped shape the formative Nirvana sound – "The Money Will Roll Right In" by Fang and "D-7" by The Wipers. Only 2 of the 25 performances on the DVD have ever been released before.

The grand prize winner of the contest will receive a huge prize pack with Nirvana's entire major label catalor - Nevermind, Unplugged, Nirvana, In Utero, Incesticide, From The Muddy Bands of the Wishkah and the new Live At Reading deluxe CD/DVD.

To enter, just follow 411mania or 411Music on Twitter and send us an @ message with "411mania is...whatever, nevermind" and your email address.

It's that easy! But enter fast - this contest will be over on Friday, November 6th!
