Weezy and Birdman fail to give proper due?
Lil Wayne and Birdman are being sued for copyright infringement.
Thomas Marasciullo says the rappers asked him to record some "Italian-styled spoken word recordings" in 2006, and that those recordings were used on the Wayne/Birdman album Like Father, Like Son and Birdman's 5 (Star) Stunna.
Marasciullo is seeking unspecified damages, claiming his lyrics and voice were used without permission. He says he came across the recordings when he heard "Respect" as his daughter was buying a ringtone.
