Weezer Frontman Wrote Song For New Adam Lambert Album
Posted by Mitch Michaels on 11.03.2009

On Adam Lambert's upcoming debut, For Your Entertainment, there's a track called "Pick U Up" that's written by Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo.

"He has the kind of voice I convince myself that I have," Cuomo says.

It's just the latest in a string of Weezer colabs with everyone from Lil Wayne to the All-American Rejects to Katy Perry.

Here is the exact quote from Weezer on the song for Adam Lambert "I was invited to sit in with Adam Lambert and watch him sing, and he was checking out the song. And as it turns out, he came up with a few ideas for it for himself, changed the melody around, suggested some lyric changes and before you knew it, I was writing a song with Adam Lambert." He also said Adam's voice is amazing. Very nice for Weezer to share.
