Disclaimers on tickets could be the answer...
Australians like their concerts live, not lip-synced. This means trouble for Britney Spears since her current Australian shows have been lip-synced and have been causing controversy in the country.
Calling Spears' current Circus world tour shows a "Mickey Mouse performance," New South Wales Minister for Fair Trading, Virginia Judge, is now insisting that ticket agencies publish a disclaimer on tickets to stop concert-goers from being ripped off when an artist doesn't provide live vocals.
"Let's be clear -- live means live. If you are spending up to $200, I think you deserve better than a film clip. The NSW Government would be happy to look at options, such as a disclaimer on a ticket which would warn consumers a performance is pre-recorded," said Judge in a statement.
