Joe Perry Says Aerosmith Looking For New Singer
Posted by Michael Melchor on 11.10.2009
The fight continues on...
Guitarist Joe Perry said on his Twitter page that he and his bandmates are "positively looking for a new singer to work with."
Aerosmith performed at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 1, but then Tyler surprised his bandmates by telling Britain's Classic Rock magazine, in an article published last Wednesday, that he would focus on his own projects, "Brand Tyler," as he dubbed it. He also stopped communicating with the rest of the band several months ago, and hired his own manager.
Perry told Reuters last month that Tyler has refused to write a song with him for a decade. More recently, Perry said that the last time he phoned Tyler, the singer hung up on him.
It's time for them to retire then.
No Tyler means they aren't the classic band everyone loves.

Steven Tyler wants a bigger piece of the financial pie.If he has refused to write a song with Joe Perry for over 10 years..then he is getting fucked on royalties or is tired of Joe Perry..

Actually Gary Cherone would probably be a better fit with Areosmith than he was with Van Halen.
Maybe Steven Tyler will be the new lead singer of Velvet Revolver -

I wouldn't buy an Aerosmith album that didn't include the original five.... a classic can't be changed, or else it no longer is a classic....
