[VIDEO] New Version Of "Paradise City" Features Fergie, Cypress Hill
Posted by Aaron Mayagoitia on 11.11.2009

A two-song single of Slash's solo project was released yesterday in Japan. One of the songs is a remake of the Guns N' Roses hit "Paradise City" with The Black Eyed Peas' Fergie and Cypress Hill on vocals. You can check out the song below.

The other song included on the single is a track called "Sahara" -- a collaboration with Koshi Inaba.

Slash defended Fergie's collaboration yesterday with the following post on his Twitter page: "Until now, not too many people have heard Fergie sing Rock & Roll but she sings it better than most dudes I know. She's a screamer at heart."

If you don't like the new version of "Paradise City", don't worry, Slash also tweeted that "This Japanese release will not be on my record in the West, which is all new original material."

So what do you think about the song?

that rocked!... better core then the orginal maybe vocals suck and don't compare to axl but.... the music itself is a better trandition then the orginal

How did you manage to type all that and not feel like a massive clutz?

It has nothing on the original, which oddly enough feels "new and fresh", while this POS music feels like stuff you have heard a million times before

Its terrible, you can give GnR flack for many things, but you cannot give them any of it for their first album.

Honestly it's far better than it has any right to be. I am pleasantly surprised.

Oh I bet Fergie is a screamer at heart and I would stand in line at a gangbang to find out.
