Bad Lieutenant Forced To Cancel US Tour

Ex-Joy Division/New Order members can't get into the country...

Bad Lieutenant, the new project from ex-members of Joy Division and New Order, has been forced to cancel their four US dates scheduled for next week because their visa paperwork could not be processed in time.

"We were all so very excited about coming to the States to play our new music for our American fans," said frontman Bernard Sumner, "and are extremely disappointed that on this occasion, we won't have the opportunity to do so. We plan to reschedule the Chicago and New York shows along with some additional US dates in Spring 2010."

The concerts were in support of the band's just released debut album Never Cry Another Tear. Spring 2010 dates will be announced soon.
