Eminem Delays Relapse 2, Announces Relapse: Refill
Posted by Ashish on 11.20.2009

Eminem has delayed his Relapse 2 album which was originally due out this year to next year. He has, however, announced that Relapse: Refill, his fifth studio album re-released with seven bonus tracks, will drop on December 21st. The bonus tracks include five "never-before-heard" tracks along with "Taking My Ball" from DJ Hero and "Forever" featuring Drake, Kanye West, and Lil' Wayne.

"Hopefully these tracks on 'The Refill' will tide the fans over until we put out 'Relapse 2' next year," Eminem says in the statement. "I got back in [the studio] with Dre and then a few more producers, including Just Blaze, and went in a completely different direction which made me start from scratch. The new tracks started to sound very different than the tracks I originally intended to be on Relapse 2, but I still want the other stuff to be heard.".

At least he's putting something out for now. His album didn't come out too long ago so putting out frequent music is always a plus. If only Dre could put out 2001: Refill so we can hold off for Detox.

I assume this means that Dre's new album that was "for sure" this year is no longer for sure.

I agree with Guest#0178.

When Em has his game-face on (i.e. in tracks like Collapse, and his verse on Forever), he's one of the best out there. All the retarded jokey music is a real waste of talent.
