Rihanna Lands Huge Payday For Mid-East Performance

A look at some big holiday performances coming up...



Rihanna is set to get $500,000 to perform at a New Year's Eve event at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The performance will be her first ever in the Middle East.

Alicia Keys will also get a huge payday for her upcoming holiday concert in Manhattan, to the tune of $250,000.

Other big holiday performances include:

* 12/31 - Green Day in Times Square (New York)
* 12/31 - Nicole Richie & Joel Madden host party at Lavo in Palazzo (Las Vegas)
* 12/31 - Christina Aguilera hosts party at Tao in Venetian (Las Vegas)
* 12/31 - Maroon 5 at The Pearl at The Palms (Las Vegas)
* 12/31 - Lady GaGa at the Fontainebleau Hotel (Miami)
