Hanson To Play All Of Their Albums Live During 5-Night NYC Stint
Posted by Mitch Michaels on 12.16.2009

Hanson will be performing at The Bamboozle Festival on Saturday May 1st. Leading up to this appearance and in anticipation of their spring album release, the band will be hosting a five-night engagement at New York City's Gramercy Theater, during which the band will be performing, in their entirety, each of their four previous albums, leading up to a premiere of their spring full length.

Taylor Hanson said, "It's great to be a part of this year's Bamboozle festival, and especially on the heels of a new record we wanted to bring together a live music event that was really unique, something that allows us and our fans to share the music we've created over more than a decade like never before." Added Isaac, "We could not think of a better way to span the old and the new music than in this live setting."

Tickets are on sale now through Hanson.net. You can also check out some recent live footage there.

The band recently released a new EP, Stand Up Stand Up, which is available via all digital outlets. It features four acoustic tracks and a new track from the upcoming full length.

Zac Hanson says, "The EP is about engaging fans of the band early, with a first look at some of the new songs, as well as bridging the gap between the last album, The Walk and the coming record."

Hanson Dates

27 - This Time Around

Hanson? I didn't know they're still around

They're very much still around and very active as an independent rock band...I get the impression the author didn't know that either? The same person will sing lead on MMMop as has been at every show they've played in the past 12 years, but it's hardly the main draw of their shows.
