Billboard Charts: Susan Boyle Still On Top
Posted by Mitch Michaels on 12.16.2009

Susan Boyle holds the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 for a third week with another 582,000 copies sold - up from last week. With a couple of weeks left in the year, Boyle's I Dreamed A Dream could compete with Taylor Swift's Fearless for best selling album of 2009. Boyle's is the longest stay at #1 since Fearless, which spent seven weeks on top at the beginning of the year. The album is the fastest selling since 50 Cent's The Massacre in 2003.

Glee: The Music, Volume 2 debuts at #3 this week with 173,000 copies sold. It's the second Glee soundtrack to hit the Top 10 this season, as Volume 1 debuted at #4 in November. The release of Volume 2 helped push Volume 1 back up the charts as well, as it stands at #11 this week.

Chris Brown's Graffiti debuts at #7 with 102,000, nearly a third of the first week sales of 2007's Exclusive, which debuted at #4.

Gucci Mane took his major label debut, The State Vs. Radric Davis, to #10 this week with 90,000 copies.

1. Susan Boyle - I Dreamed a Dream, 582,000
2. Andrea Bocelli - My Christmas, 400,000

Because only old people buy music. Everyone else steals it.

Now the new thing will be looking for ugly chicks that can sing. No, anything but talent! But really, she sucks.

Shes in the top spot because people that would really be fans of her dont download music. Either that or guess what alot of you are getting for Christmas this year.

Let the music industry die. It deserves it for all the shit it's been putting out. Long live the underground~

Meh, at least she can sing. Which makes her a lot less offensive to me than some of the other shite that's out right now.

Looks like your going to have Susan Boyle as Christmas Number 1... and here in the UK... were going to have Rage Against The Machine!
