Jack Johnson Recording New Album Entirely With Solar Energy

Jack Johnson is currently working in his eco-friendly Hawaiian studio, the Mango Tree, on his sixth studio album which he hopes to release in June. Johnson is recording the entire album using only solar energy.
Johnson and his band are planning a summer world tour to promote the album, kicking off June 16th. A single is expected in April.
Johnson is also gearing up for his annual Earth Day festival, which is set for April 23rd - 24th in Honolulu. Ziggly Marley, Taj Mahal and local Hawaiian acts Jake Shimabukuro and Anuhea all join Jack on the bill.
