Jessica Simpson's Dad Crashes Nick Lachey's Super Bowl Party

Why let a little thing like divorce get in the way of a good party?

Jessica Simpson's father/manager Joe Simpson was in Miami for the Super Bowl this weekend, where he crashed a party hosted by his ex-son-in-law Nick Lachey. Joe strolled into the event at a Miami Beach hotel, telling party goers "Nick doesn't know I'm here!"

Jessica and Nick were married for over three years before their divorce in June of 2006. Joe is rumored to be one of the reasons Lachey left.

Nick and Joe were both staying at the Eden Roc hotel this weekend. Nick was running late for the party and hadn't arrived when Joe slipped in unnoticed.

When he learned that Simpson was there, Nick said, "I haven't talked to Joe in years. So be it."
