Check out "Nothing But The Whole Wide World", featuring Neko Case...
Spinner currently has "Nothing But the Whole Wide World," from Jakob Dylan's sophomore release Women and Country, up for listening and downloading. Check it out below.
The new album is produced by T-Bone Burnett, who worked on the Wallflowers' 1996 breakout album, Bringing Down the Horse. As you may have guessed by its title, the new album takes country and folk direction. "Nothing But the Whole Wide World" features Neko Case on backing vocals.
"I've known Jakob since he was a kid and have followed his evolution with great interest," Burnett says. "When he first sat down with a guitar and played me 'Nothing But the Whole Wide World,' it was clear that he had taken several steps forward in his songwriting -- that he was writing folk music, which is another way of looking at popular music. I'm so happy to be collaborating with Jakob at this exciting and vital time in his life as an artist, and I think this new album is an important work from a great musician.""
"it was clear that he had taken several steps forward in his songwriting"
he's being sarcastic right? lyrically its obvious, boring and repetitous. vocally the harmony is familiar, boring, and whiny. neko shouldve taken a verse and saved this track

I love this tune...Swet, with melancholy overtones...Nice!!
"buddha", eh? That's irony for ya!
Save your negative comments to continue poisoning your own life...
as for Juan Pablo, I suggest you go back to basic grammar school before you insult someone who writes songs for a living...:
"when he say"?? "afterwords"?? "understund"?? "all what he says"??
Get a clue, eh?
