Foo Fighters Working With Nirvana Producer On New Album
Posted by Mitch Michaels on 03.09.2010

Last week we announced that the Foo Fighters were beginning to write their new album. Now it looks like they'll be teaming with producer Butch Vig, who was behind the boards for Nirvana's landmark Nevermind album.

Dave Grohl said he is contemplating nixing working in the band's Studio 606 and just recording the album in his garage. He said, "I think this could be our heaviest album yet."

I figured Dave and the guys would wind up working with Butch on this record.

Should be good.

Awesome, Butch really brought the depth out in Nirvana on Nevermind and he's been making credible brilliance with Garbage for fifteen years - is a three way drum battle out of the question as a bonus track?
