Billboard Charts: Ludacris Debuts #1

Ludacris landed his fourth #1 album on the latest Billboard charts, with Battle of the Sexes debuting at #1 with 137,000 copies sold. Ludacris is now tied with the Beastie Boys for the third most #1 albums among rap acts. They trail 2Pac, DMX, Eminem, and Nas, all of whom have five #1 albums, while Jay-Z is #1 with 11 #1 albums.

Gorillaz debuted at #2 with Plastic Beach selling 112,000 copies.

Jimi Hendrix's Valleys of Neptune debuted at #4 with 95,000 copies sold.

2. Gorillaz - Plastic Beach - 112,000 copies sold
3. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now - 105,000 copies sold
4. Jimi Hendrix - Valleys of Neptune - 95,000 copies sold
5. Gary Allan - Get Off On The Pain - 65,000 copies sold
6. Sade - Soldier of Love - 52,000 copies sold
7. Broken Bells - Broken Bells - 49,000 copies sold
