Lady Gaga Sued by Ex-Boyfriend!
Posted by Chris Lansdell on 03.18.2010

Rob Fusari, a songwriter and producer who claims he helped Lady Gaga launch her career, is suing her for $35 million. The suit claims that Fusari, who is also a former boyfriend of Lady Gaga, was pushed out of the popstar's career despite co-writing some of her songs, coming up with her stage name and helping her her get her record deal.

The suit alleges that Gaga was brought to Fusari's attention in 2006 when she was still known by her real name, Stefani Germanotta. Fusari claims that after hearing her play, he spent months working with her and "radically reshaping her approach," converting her from rocker to dance artist. The Lady Gaga name came about as the pair co-wrote the songs "Paparazzi" and "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich," both of which appeared on Gaga's debut album The Fame.

According to the lawsuit, the two became a couple in May 2006 and formed Team Love Child LLC to promote her career. Fusari's share was to be 20 per cent. He introduced Gaga to a record label exec who would get her signed with Interscope Records. The Fame was released on that label in 2008.

The suit further alleges that the $611,000 that Fusari has received does not represent his full 20 percent share of song royalties, 15 percent of merchandising revenue and other monies owed.

It's funny, as much as I don't care for her choice of music, I've been saying that she has a good voice, and could easily be fronting a rock group (like evanescence kinda thing)

Now I find out she was going the rock route, and this guy pushed her towards what she's doing now.. He shouldn't get money, he could be drug out into the street and shot
