Paul McCartney's Daughter Got Married And He Wasn't Invited

Paul McCartney's daughter Mary, 40, married boyfriend Simon Aboud at London's Marylebone Register Office last Saturday in a secret ceremony that not even Paul knew about.

Simon spread the news via his twitter, posting a picture of the couple and tweeting, "We got married on Saturday. Marylebone Registry, just us and the kids, the rings driven up the aisle to us by one of the boys on a remote control dune buggy. Lovely day."

A friend said, "Paul and Mary are close and always have been, but she decided to keep the event secret from everyone so it would not become a Macca thing."

Mary divorced her first husband, Alistair Donald, after six years in 2005. She and Simon have been dating for three years and have a 22-month old son.

Paul and his late wife Linda McCartney (Mary's mom) were also married at the Marylebone Registry.
