New Kids On The Block & The Backstreet Boys To Tour Together

It's like Metallica & Megadeth teaming up, only way gayer...
It looks like the New Kids On The Block and the Backstreet Boys are close to signing a deal with Live Nation for a joint tour next year.
"The idea is to recreate the boy band phenomenon," says a source. "It will be the ultimate ladies' night out."
NKOTB once joined Backstreet on stage in NYC a few months ago, but they've never done a full on show together. In fact, the duet - which was the New Kids and Backstreet singing "I Want It That Way" at Radio City Music Hall - was what sparked the idea for a tour.
Word has it Live Nation wants to add a third band, with Boyz II Men on top of the list.

New Kids do well enough on their own. They do not need to tour with a group that came out 10 years later... Nothing against BSB. They served their purpose for their generation... I'm sure their fans would love for them to do what NKOTB have been doing... but let them do it on their own. Granted any tour is better than no tour... but this really doesn't make sense.

the only high point of SAW IV was seeing one of the new kids getting his head crushed with ice blocks.

At least they are more relevant than Megadeth and Metallica
