Bret Michaels Naked On The Cover Of Billboard Magazine

Bret talks about getting old...

Bret is promoting his new show, Life As I Know It, with a cover story in Billboard.

"It's an all-access backstage pass into my everyday life, about finding balance between my passion for my family, my relationship with [girlfriend] Kristi [Gibson] and being on the road," he said.

Bret also talks about VH1's perception of him and how it was changed.

"They wanted the 1986 Bret Michaels. My fans enjoyed the teased hair, the spandex. It was great, it was the time I lived in," he said. "Who knew that spandex tucked into cowboy boots would ever go out of style? But for some strange reason, it did."

Bret also talked about his career longevity.

"Writers always use the phrase ‘aging rocker,' and I'm like, "What other option do I have?" You're either aging or you're dead. So I'm embracing it," he said.
