Journalist Aplogizes To Shakira

Says he did not see her kissing Gerard Pique...
A Spanish journalist who made false reports that he had seen Shakira and Gerard Pique holding each other last month has apologized and begged the two's forgiveness.
"I made the mistake of referring to a kiss between Pique and Shakira that may have occurred in a restaurant. The second mistake was the way I said it, which is only justified in the context of an informal chat. What had seemed to me as irrelevant information has since taken on more significance," said the reporter Javier Sarda.
Javier said he did not see the kiss and, instead, the info came from a source and "as all sources, [it] may be false...In my mind, by the way in which I understand my duty as a journalist and because I never want to cause distress to others, I must apologize to Pique and Shakira categorically and openly. I completely regret it."
