Gaga joins Simon Cowell in defending the young singer...
Rebecca Black has made a fan in Lady Gaga. At the Musicians@Google event yesterday, Gaga defended Black.
She said: "I think it's fantastic. I say Rebecca Black is a genius and anyone that's telling her she's cheesy is full of shit." She hasn't seen the video however. Simon Cowell was another one of her defenders.
Black has been "cyber bullied" for her song "Friday", which was recorded after her mother paid $2,000 the the Los Angeles Ark Studios. It is estimated that she is making $27,000 a week from iTunes sales and YouTube streams.
Well, I guess those with no talent relate to other people with no talent.

Ummm, I think she's being a little lose with the term genius. We don't need to go overboard on deriding Black, but lets please not go too far in the other direction either. There a difference between being slightly more talented with someone with no abilities (which Black is), talented (which Gaga is) and a freaking Genius which is someone like Mozart or Beethoven. I'm so sick of everyone being called a musical genius because they can stand in front of a microphone and make sounds from their throat.
