Eminem's New Video Angers Anti-Violence Groups
Posted by Joseph Lee on 06.29.2011

Eminem's new music video "Space Bound" is now being slammed by anti-violence groups.

In the video, the rapper shoots himself in the head after imagining himself attacking his girlfriend (played by Sasha Grey).

The group Mothers Against Violence is leading the charge. A spokeswoman for the group said: "People who do this are really quite evil. Children are influenced by the things they see. If we feed violence, it becomes strong. Like an addiction. It's all about the money with these videos. Eminem isn't thinking about the families affected. It's selfish – it comes to a point when selfishness becomes evil."

Get a life! Now a days music videos are made to be like short movies! If you don't want you kids to watch then so be it. Don't attack the artist because you disagree! Evil? Really, evil? Maybe Bad Meets Evil! It sounds like you're being the selfish, "evil" one here. Freedom of speech, the artist should be able to portray his music however he wants. You're just letting him under your skin and he's going to keep comin!

Mothers Against Putting In The Effort To Parent Their Own Children are right! Why should they do the job themselves when you could just ban everything!

BAN LIFE! It hurts our kids in the long run. It will eventually kill them.

Music videos are portayel of what the artist see's in their eyes. It's freedom of speech, and I back up Eminem 100%. I am a huge fan of Eminem and have his CDs and I am only 13. Yet I don't get the urge to become suicidal or hurt another person. This is a video full of fiction but shows life's true meaning. Don't like it? Go watch something else, because I rather stick to listening to poetry and watching it come to life than listen to another word of a Mother judging an artist! I swear, everyone needs to pick on every detail nowadays.
