Eminem Is The First Artist To Sell One Million Digital Albums In The US

An impressive feat...
Eminem is the first musician to sell over one million digital downloads in the US, through his album Recovery.
The rapper has sold 1,001,000 at present time. The total amount of albums sold, including physical sales, is 3.9 million.
He won't have the record for long though, as Adele is expected to surpass him next week with her album 21. This would also make her the first British artist to sell one million album downloads in the US.
Adele may surpass him, but he will always be the FIRST to do it.

Sorry to bust your bubble (Who Is Adele) but Eminem is not the 1st to do it. Lady Gaga held this record prior with "The Fame". But hey they are both Interscope artist so Interscope is winning.
