UPDATED x7 Amy Winehouse Found Dead

UPDATE x7: Amy Winehouse's dad, Mitch Winehouse, was spotted at JFK this afternoon, shortly after canceling his performance in New York City. Mitch was reported to be in the first class lounge, talking on his phone, and understandably pacing around as he waited on a flight.
UPDATE x6: According to sources, paramedics found "signs of life" when the arrived at Amy Winehouse's home. Unfortunately, Amy passed away before they could transport her to a medical facility. Law enforcement "is operating under the suspicion" this is an overdose, although police will not say on the record it's an overdose until the first postmortem exam in complete.
"Next of kin have been informed, and I can confirm that officers are now satisfied that the deceased is Amy Winehouse.
I am aware of reports suggesting this death is the result of a suspected drugs overdose, but I would like to re-emphasize that no post-mortem examination has yet taken place and it would be inappropriate to speculate on the cause of death."
UPDATE x4: Employees from the Jazz Cafe in Camden Town, which was one of Amy Winehouse's favorite places to go, have stated that they hadn't seen the singer in a month, and that many of them were beginning to worry about her. Amy would come in a couple of times a week. According to the staff, they had seen Amy at her lowest, but also noted that she looked healthy the last time they saw her. Amy would usually arrive with an entourage of people, but in recent visits, would only arrive with one guest.
UPDATE x3: Amy Winehouse's body has been removed from her home. Paramedics took the body away, and at this time, police have remained outside the apartment and will continue to do so until it is no longer necessary. There is a crowd of over 200 around the home at this time.
UPDATE x2: Mitch Winehouse, Amy's father, has just canceled his performance in New York City in order to catch a flight to London to be with his family.
Update: It's now being reported that Scotland Yard found no signs of foul play in the death of Amy Winehouse.
An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
Original: TMZ has confirmed that Amy Winehouse has been found dead in her London apartment today.
A press release was sent out from the Metropolitan Police, which did not specifically name Winehouse.
"Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased.
On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained."
