Projected Sales for Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV Go Up
Posted by Chad Webb on 08.30.2011

The initial sales projections for Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV was estimated to be between 700,000-850,000 but now that number has gone up to between 850,000-900,000.

It will definitely hit #1, marking the third time he has hit that spot. Red Hot Chili Peppers' new album I'm With You will be #2 most likely. It will probably sell between 175,000-200,000.

If Tha Carter IV sells 850,000 or more, it will be the biggest sales week for a hip-hop album since eWayne's Carter III opened with 1.01 million.

Went to buy the chili peppers today and they sold out at target..I was actually happy cause it shows there is a interest in rock still. Hope it does better than projected, it really is a good album.
