It has already been reported that Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV will get #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, but Beyonce might see a boost in sales due to her pregnancy announcement.
Her album 4 could see a 40% increase in sales and move between 30,000 and 40,000 copies. This would be the first increase since it debuted.
Red Hot Chili Peppers' I'm With You will likely get #2 with around 200,000 sold, while Adele's 21 will go to #3.
New releases include David Guetta's Nothing But the Beat and Jake Owen's Barefoot Blue Jean Night, both of which might get Top 10 positions.
I've never understood the buying habits of the American public. Why on Earth would Beyonce's pregnancy make people more interested in her as an artist? Her personal life and her music have nothing to do with one another. Will her music suddenly be more pleasing to the ear now that she is expecting?
It is the same phenomenon as when MJ and Amy Winehouse saw their record sales skyrocket after they died. These albums were ALWAYS available. Why does their death suddenly make their music more appealing? It's the same album that you apparently didn't buy when they were alive. It's not going to sound any different.

for some fans I guess its a collector mindset. i wouldnt be surprised if they went out and bought the cd twice one to listen the other to keep sealed and all that crap so they can say this was the album out at the time she was pregnant. Makes no sense but, people do strange things.
