Lil Wayne Admits To Being Addicted To "Sizzurp"

He started because he was sick...

Lil Wayne has admitted that he is addicted to the codeine-based drink called "sizzurp", although he said he started because he was sick.

He first started drinking it after Pimp C rapped about it. Pimp C died from an overdose of the drink in 2007.

Wayne says he felt he needed the drink to cope with his fame and the pressure of being a celebrity. He added that he quit it because "I'm not sick anymore."
