Conrad Murray's Jury Deliberations Were Multi-Lingual
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 11.09.2011

Some of the jurors deliberating in Conrad Murray's trial switched to Spanish while discussing the case in the juror room. TMZ reports that at least two jurors began talking about the case in Spanish during the deliberations.

According to the relative of one of the jurors, another juror had some difficulty understanding some of the testimony and the first juror had to do some translating of the testimony into Spanish. TMZ notes that on the the questionnaire that jurors were required to fill out, the first question read, "Do you have any difficulty reading, speaking or understanding English."

According to a spokesperson for the court, no juror ever requested a court-appointed translator at any time during the trial or deliberations.
