Michael Jackson's Estate Approaches Ivan Reitman's Production Company About a Biopic

Could Jackson's story be coming to the big screen?
Michael Jackson's estate has apparently approached the Montecito Picture Company, which is the production banner of Tom Pollock and director Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters) about producing and financing a biopic on the King of Pop.
According to Variety, it "would only cover certain periods of the late singer's life." Pollock confirmed that they're talking, but that's it.
