Unseen Michael Jackson Documentary Doesn't Sell at Auction

Nobody wants a pricey documentary they can do little with...
An unseen Michael Jackson documentary, which features footage from his 1993 Dangerous world tour, did not sell at a recent London auction.
It was expected to get £4 million last night. The spokesman for the Fame Bureau auctioneers said: "At this stage it has not sold. We are still talking to people, but online it did not sell." They added that they were forced to remove a brief clip of the video after Jackson's record label made a "copyright claim."
Because a buyer will not be able to use the film for commercial purposes may have something to do with the lack of demand. Jackson gave a VHS copy of the film to his chauffeur as a kind of reward or bonus for his services. Jackson was said to be unhappy with the finished product, which is why it was never released. He also fired the crew who worked on it.
The driver leaked a very short clip of the film online in 2009 after Jackson's death, but that was stopped by Jackson's record label. He does have the right to sell or transfer the VHS to third parties.
