Kanye West Talks Album of the Year Grammy Snub

What did he have to say?
Kanye West recently spoke about getting snubbed for Album of the Year at the Grammy award nominations Wednesday night, saying that he wasn't worried about it. West addressed the much-talked about snub during his Watch the Throne concert in Chicago Thursday night, saying that it was due to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Watch The Throne both being eligible and splitting the votes.
"People focus, they say, 'You ain't have Album of the Year or Record of the Year,'" he said. "But I figured out though, that's my fault for dropping 'Watch the Throne' and 'Dark Fantasy' the same year. I should have just spaced it out a little bit more. "But don't worry, because me and Hov gonna keep on making shit."
You sure he didn't go on another "They never give a black man a chance!" rant?

Yup JT (the poster). everyone is defined by one statement they make, and it applies to every situation ever.
Kanye's statement about government not doing enough for a predominantly black city totally meant that black people dont get a chance.
I agree with u brother. Black people were given a great chance when they took that luxury cruise, given housing, food, and an honest days work of pickin cotton. They got to bask in the great American sun.
Look at them now, uppity wanting awards richers
He may be a self-centered asshole, but I dont know anyone committed to their craft that isn't

All the people that were given the "luxury" cruise and basked in the sun have died.. every last one of them.
Oppression in the past is not an excuse for laziness in the present, nor entitlement.
Work hard, do what you need to do and stop asking for people to pay for something that you have no part of AT ALL.
Slavery is a bad thing, but it hasn't existed in how long? We have a black president... any black person that bitches and moans should be slapped in the face.
That is all
