Lil Wayne has been named Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Artist of the Year. Weezy received the honor thanks the success of The Carter IV and four #1 singles. The rapper had a total of twenty-four chart entries on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and performed for 712,000 people in 69 arena shows, earning a total tour gross of $46,300,000.
Nicki Minaj came in second, with Chris Brown, Miguel and Wiz Khalifa also ranking highly.
