According to Forbes, Lady Gaga is 2011's top-earning female in music. She raked in $90 million from album sales, touring, and endorsements.
That is double Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, who made $45 million and $44 million. These numbers reflect earnings between May 2010 and 2011. Adele was in 9th place with $18 million.
Others on the top 10 list were: Beyonce ($35 million), Rihanna ($29 million), Pink ($22 million), Carrie Underwood ($20 million), Celine Dion ($19 million) and Britney Spears and Alicia Keys ($10 million) who tied for #10.
U2 was the top music act overall with $195 million.
